Falling behind! "Frustrated"

As our filming schedule was not accurate at times it resulted us as fallen behind. We wanted to film a little part today which was suppose to last for about 6 seconds but we could not get the camera out anymore as the due date is this friday (25th)-deadline. This has giving us a hard time which is making our group frustrated to edited as we needed a particular clip so we are trying us best to overcome that by extending the clips. So i have now realised that we all have to learn from our mistakes at some point. We are using Final Cut Pro, LiveType and Sound Track Pro to put this together.
So we are hopefully going to be done by 3pm tommorow!

i wanna wish my group 24 the best of luck as we are all putting in our hearts and souls , working very hard to make this Thriller come as planned.
Yessss Group 24 - We can do thisssss!!!! Mwah xxxxxx

Difficult Times!

As we didn't get to book the camera's during the half term we've had to spend the time we had left on filming, which was around three weeks. We managed to film enough for the rough cut but still haven't managed to film the final scene. We were supposed to use time today to film but unfortunately that never went ahead for specific reasons. We have until 3pm on Friday 25th March to complete the opening of our thriller film. Due to the fact that we all have different timetables, this should be a difficult task but as a group we work quite well and hopefully we can come together at certain points of the day and work our hardest until we have completed all that we need to, and then edit the rest. Up to now, we have used Final Cut Pro, LiveType and Sound Track Pro to edit and add sound to our current film but we need to add as much as we need to before our final deadline. As a group, we are all stressing out about how far we've got and are all trying to get as much work done as possible. Tomorrow will be one of the hardest days as media students so far but hopefull we come together and do our very best!
Wish us luck - we may need it. I have faith in my group though, as we are all determined to do well. :)

A Stressed Mess

The FINAL deadline for our COMPLETED thriller opening is TOMORROW!

So far we have added titles, sound and effects using Finalcut Pro, Live Type, and Sound so we are on our way to finishing it.

I have my doubts...One one scene was supposed to be filmed today and it hasnt happened so tomorrow we will just have to use what we have and add alot of edits and extra sound if possible to help increase the time. So far we have 1minute 46 seconds and our target was 2minutes.

Hopefully tomorrow goes well and we will be able to complete it to our best ability. Tomorrow might just be the longest day of my life !

FINGERS CROSSED. WISH US LUCK.

SOUND EFFECTS

I found on youtube different types of sound effects which has given me an ideal of what we can also put in the thriller. It shows you sound for various things such as suspense, mysterious which we need in our thriller.

Thinking Of A Title

Eventhough we have been working on our thriller opening sequence for a while now we still dont have any ideas for a title. We throw around linked words like 'Missed' and 'Vengence' but we havent come up with a FINAL name which we can agree with.

Title?

Coming up with a title has changed so many times because we havent yet agreed on one to make a final decision .So far we have two in mind `Missing and `Vengence , hmmmm what should we pick ??? We should be able to decide during the final editing process.

Completing Our Final Version

We added titles onto our opening using FinalCut Pro instead of Live Type as it would be a lot easier. We were even able to create a 'Frigid' effect on it

We created our own sound for our thriller by messing around and trying out different sounds until we found a perfect combonation of sounds to add to our sequence

We then adding the sounds to FinalCut Pro to match the music with the action happeneing
